Trangia 27-2UL Cooker with Kettle is a storm-proof, spirit burning, aluminium stove is ideal for 1-2 people and the pans and kettle are smaller than the 25 series to reflect this. The Trangia is a light and reliable camping stove for the outdoors, in all weathers. This camping stove includes two windshields that fit together, a burner, a couple of pans, a combined lid/frypan, kettle and a handle. It is lightweight, needs no special care and is hardwearing. The Trangia stove is reliable, without unnecessary parts that can go wrong or be adversely affected by cold. The stove is quick to set up, and packs into a compact unit that takes up minimal space.
The silent burner has a simple, durable and safe design. Regardless of the weather, wind and season, it is easy to light. The spirit burner takes up little space and weighs less than a gas burner. The simmer ring is used to regulate the heat, which saves fuel, and is used to extinguish the flame. In severe cold, a winter attachment can be useful. A pre-heater is placed under the burner, filled with fuel and lit to warm up the burner. The accompanying, reflective plate is used as a base. The Trangia stove can also run on bottled gas. The Trangia range of accessories includes a gas burner and a multifuel burner.

There are other fuel options with Trangia but I mainly use Methylated Spirits which is what this particular set uses. If you accept that it isn''t the fastest way to cook nor the easiest to control then for me in all other aspects such as compactness
Good little cooking stove that does the job. We decided to go for the trangia rather than a gas burner as nobody seemed to have a good way of disposing of old gas canisters. Nice and quick to heat up, porridge for breakfast was cooked in about 2 minu
Used this for a motorbike trip around the highlands. Nice small size when packed, ideal for simple meals and a couple of hot drinks for two people. Will probably get the multifuel burner add on for longer trips. An added bonus was the burner kept
