Hi guys. I'm Shaun from simplyhike.co.uk, and in this micro video, I'm going to show you the perfect heights to have your walking pole. In this demonstration, I'm going to be using the Leki micro vario walking pole. So, let's get it set up, shall we? There you go. Simple as that. It's a good little pole.

So the key thing is to get the adjustment right. With standard walking poles, you tend to have to screw through, screw and tighten up through the actual pole system itself. Obviously, on this model, we've only got this latch here. So what you need to do, is quite literally move the pole down, latch that in, make sure it's nice and high, and in line with the hip, but your arm is also nice and fairly straight. This will give you the pressure and comfort that you need and it won't cause any discomfort for you.
