Berghaus - Explorer Trek
The first boot we would like to talk about is a classic. It's the Explorer Trek from Berghaus. These boots have been around for years and come highly recommended by pretty much everyone! Although they have had a face lift for 2015 they still have a great fit, comfort out of the box and a perfect match for the first time hiker and walker. All of this for under £100!
Salomon - Conquest
Brasher - Supalite Active
With Brasher now becoming Berghaus this has and will lower the price of any Brasher stock that is left, this is where you guys can grab a bargain. The Supalite Active boot from Brasher is a lightweight 3 season walking boot. The boot is Gore-Tex lined meaning it's 100% waterproof and breathable. The Supalite sole gives brilliant grip on all types of terrain, you have a toe and heel box giving you great protection and the boots themselves only weigh 1048g.
Berghaus - Expeditor AQ Ridge
Want a boot that is DofE recommended? Then look no further than the Exeditor AQ Ridge from Berghaus. This boot uses Berghaus' own waterproofing membrane, AQ, which is waterproof and breathable. Working with the AQ membrane you also have a DWR coating. This boot has a OPTI-STUD outsole which gives brilliant grip and security on any terrain. The AQ Ridge is a full grain leather boot which offers a great fit and high protection from the elements.
Asolo - Reston GV
The last boot we have picked is the Reston from Asolo. This boot has a Gore-Tex lining and an anatomic footbed with a natural shape. The Reston GV has a narrow fit making it perfect for people with narrow and smaller feet. The overall weight for these boots is a nice and light 890g. This Asolo boot has a great mixture of leather and mesh giving the wearer a nice fit. You also get a vibram sole with this boot which offers amazing grip and tread.
