If you’re sitting for longer periods of time then consider both back height and back padding of your camping chair. Higher backs will be more comfortable as you can rest your shoulders back for more support. Lower backed folding chairs allow you to sit more upright which is ideal when eating around your camping table. You can see back padding from each image and this will offer comfort. Fabric folding chairs won’t have padding on the seat areas as these will mould to your shape and are comfortable as they are.

If you’re loading the car up and unloading in front of your pitch then weight doesn’t really need to be contemplated, but if you’re taking the camping chair to a festival or outdoor activity that is a long way from your car then consider how heavy it is and if it comes with a carry bag and shoulder strap.
